Jack accepts briefs in all areas of commercial and public law, with a particular interest in banking, securities and insolvency, corporate, equity and trusts, financial services, competition and consumer matters.
Jack was admitted as a solicitor in 2018 and called to the Bar in 2026. From 2021 to 2025, Jack practised as an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in London, where he acted on some of the most high-profile and complex commercial disputes in the jurisdiction. These included sovereign debt defaults, software licence disputes, partnership, fund and shareholder disputes. Between 2018 and 2020, Jack was a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer) in Sydney, where he advised on a range of financial services regulatory disputes and commissions of inquiry.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Laws with Applied Finance (First Class Honours) from Macquarie University. Jack placed second overall in his undergraduate cohort, received multiple academic prizes, and acted as student editor of the Macquarie Law Journal.
