Overview

Edward accepts briefs in all areas of law and practises principally in intellectual property, commercial disputes, equity, corporations, consumer and trade practices, trade secrets, competition and family law.

Admitted to the Bar in 2019, Edward has degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Laws from University College London, graduating as the top student in the LLM program.

Before commencing practice at the Bar, Edward was associate to the Hon. John Nicholas, Justice of the Federal Court of Australia, and a solicitor for 7 years. He was also a lecturer in Corporations Law at the University of Melbourne.

Edward is ranked by Chambers and Partners as a “Leading Junior” in Intellectual Property in Asia Pacific. He has been recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a recommended junior counsel in New South Wales since 2021, and is ranked as a “Leading Junior” in IP and TMT by the Legal 500.
