Dominique Hogan-Doran SC conducts a national advocacy, strategy and advisory practice in complex and high profile disputes, public inquiries, regulatory actions, and corporate transactions.
Dominique is recognised in Chambers & Partners (Dispute Resolution: The Bar); The Legal 500 (as a “Leading Silk” in Commercial Disputes and also Crime and Regulatory (including White Collar Crime)); Best Lawyers (Litigation, ADR, Financial Institutions, Superannuation Law) and Doyle’s Guide (Leading White Collar Crime and Regulatory Investigations Barristers, Australia).
Dominique is Chair of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand Disciplinary Appeals Council and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and of the Governance Institute of Australia.
Before her call to the Bar, Dominique was Research Director to the Chief Justice of New South Wales, a Menzies Scholar at Oxford University, and a lawyer at Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
Outside the law, Dominique is Chair of Natural Hazards Research Australia, joining as a director after her work as Senior Counsel Assisting the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements. She was previously a Trustee Director of industry superfund Club Plus Super (since merged with AustralianSuper) and now serves on the board of Australian Cricket’s retirement investment fund (ACRA) and is Chair of its public benevolent fund, Players Cordon.
