Brigid Nelmes

Brigid accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a particular interest in commercial, regulatory, insurance, employment, discrimination and public law matters.

Brigid was admitted as a solicitor in 2021 and called to the Bar in 2026. Prior to coming to the Bar, she practised at Allens as an Associate in the Disputes & Investigations team, and also spent a year in the Employment & Safety team. Before that, Brigid served as Tipstaff to the Hon Justice Julie Ward, then Chief Judge in Equity, at the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Brigid holds a Master of Laws (Honours) from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney.
